Everything I want to say about Psychobuildings has already been said, and far better than I could possibly articulate. So what can I tell you? Well, I might mention that Psychobuildings are a young Brooklyn-based band with a 7″ out now on All Hands Electric. Or that their musical pedigree includes members from Silk Flowers and Small Black. I might even mention that in this picture, the band’s wonderfully awkward front-man Peter La Bier looks a lot like an equally awkward boy I knew in high school. But no, I won’t say any of these things.

Instead I ask you to imagine a musical venn diagram featuring The Cure, Talking Heads and Suicide – Psychobuildings would sit happily in the intersection of all their sounds.

The band play Music Hall of Williamsburg on the 10th, along with Small Black and Washed Out. Sounds like hipster heaven.
